We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Groundskeeper, reporting directly to the Property Manager, at Link Apartments® Grant Park in Atlanta, GA to maintain the beauty and functionality of our apartment community's outdoor spaces, as well as ensure the cleanliness and safety of our community. Your Role:

As a groundskeeper, your responsibilities will include:
  1. Policing the grounds of a multi-family community, including interior and exterior areas such as buildings, parking lots, dumpster and trash areas, loading areas, sidewalks, and landscaped areas.
  2. Performing policing duties such as picking up trash and debris, sweeping and mopping, blowing and vacuuming with power equipment, hosing, scrubbing, and power washing, and cleaning exterior furnishings.
  3. Conducting minor grounds and landscaping repairs and maintenance, including watering plants and flowers.
  4. Performing interior cleaning tasks such as mopping spills or standing water in corridors and restrooms, periodic vacuuming, washing walls and restroom fixtures, sweeping, and dusting.
  5. Cleaning interior and exterior signage.
  6. Conducting minor interior maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, and performing minor repairs to signage and building finishes.
  7. Completing all assignments on time.
  8. Keeping all tools and equipment organized and in good working condition.
  9. Maintaining an exceptional property appearance.
  10. Reporting any hazardous, emergency, or unusual situations that could be a violation of company policy or present a danger to employees, tenants, and visitors.
  11. Working within company and OSHA safety standards, using proper protective equipment when necessary.
  12. Ensuring that tenants and visitors are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained multi-family district, maintaining good public relations between tenants, visitors, and the maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
  • Good mechanical skills and willingness to learn.
  • Friendly and pleasing personality, willing to be helpful, take pride in their work, and the condition of their areas of responsibility.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Interest and enthusiasm for the job.
Physical demands/Environmental factors:
  • Works in residential buildings and outdoors
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to work outdoors under changing weather conditions.
  • Works under moderate supervision.
  • Constantly moves about to coordinate work.
  • Frequently limbs stairs or ladders, bends, stoops, reaches, uses equipment with hands, pulls, and lifts up to 50 lb.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and ability to drive a golf cart
