Fund Management Intern (Private Equity Real Estate)
Location: Charlotte HQ – Charlotte, NC
Duration: 8 weeks, in person
Start Date: Summer 2025

What You’ll Do
As a Fund Management Intern, you’ll work closely with our experienced analysts and fund managers, gaining exposure to all aspects of fund management. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on real estate markets and trends to support investment decisions.
  2. Financial Modeling: Assist in building and updating financial models for potential acquisitions and portfolio performance.
  3. Portfolio Management Support: Help monitor asset performance, track key metrics, and assist with property valuations.
  4. Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing monthly fund performance reports, gathering information from accounting, property management, and development teams.
  5. Capital Raising Support: Contribute to the creation of pitch decks and marketing materials for investors.
  6. Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process for new acquisitions by reviewing documents and coordinating with other departments.
  7. Project Management: Develop and apply project management skills while working on cross-departmental initiatives.
  8. Content Development: Help prepare customized client-facing presentations and assist with developing new content for fund materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
  9. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with various teams, including Development, Capital Formations, Investment, and Senior Leadership, to coordinate and finalize research and marketing materials.

What We’re Looking For
  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an interest in real estate and finance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
