Fund Management Intern (Private Equity Real Estate)
Location: Charlotte HQ – Charlotte, NC
Duration: 8 weeks, in person
Start Date: Summer 2025

What You’ll Do
As a Fund Management Intern, you’ll work closely with our experienced analysts and fund managers, gaining exposure to all aspects of fund management. Your responsibilities will include:

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on real estate markets and trends to support investment decisions.
Financial Modeling: Assist in building and updating financial models for potential acquisitions and portfolio performance.
Portfolio Management Support: Help monitor asset performance, track key metrics, and assist with property valuations.
Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing monthly fund performance reports, gathering information from accounting, property management, and development teams.
Capital Raising Support: Contribute to the creation of pitch decks and marketing materials for investors.
Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process for new acquisitions by reviewing documents and coordinating with other departments.
Project Management: Develop and apply project management skills while working on cross-departmental initiatives.
Content Development: Help prepare customized client-facing presentations and assist with developing new content for fund materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with various teams, including Development, Capital Formations, Investment, and Senior Leadership, to coordinate and finalize research and marketing materials.

What We’re Looking For

Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an interest in real estate and finance.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
